Infertility is the stage at which human is unable to get pregnant, if the problem lies in the male partner then it is referred to as male infertility. According to the research of the national institute of the child health and human development, on an average 15% of couples suffer from the infertility problem and unable to get pregnant.

In many of the cases male infertility can be treated but the treatment depends upon the root cause of the problem.
·         Medication can be recommended to enhance hormone level or erectile dysfunction.
·         Surgery method is adapted to treat the physical problem such as Varicocele or to repair the blockage. These are minor surgery and done as an outpatient procedure.
Sometimes treatment is not helpful, then doctor suggests the other option to develop baby, namely Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatment. The treatment involved the following procedure
v  Intrauterine insemination (IUI).
In this treatment men,sperm is collected are injected into the woman uterus for fertilization. This procedure is generally done at the time of ovulation.
v  In vitro fertilization (IVF). This technique is more complex as it involved, as it involved the sperm and egg are fertilization in the lab. Then it is inserted back into the woman’s uterus.
