6.      Mental Stress

As mental stress and anxiety cause heart disease, it is also responsible for dandruff and dry skin. Whenever you are stressed, you sleep less and that causes slower blood circulation. When your scalp doesn’t get enough blood, it becomes dry, itchy and dandruff is the result.
